Director:

Fiona Ellwood attended a full time Performing Arts School in England. She is a graduate of The Anna Petrova School of Higher Dance Education and holds the Greek Ministry of Culture’s Dance Teachers Diploma and teaching license. She is a registered teacher and tutor with the Royal Academy of Dance, an Associate of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance and a licensed Kindermusik® instructor.

Assistant Director of Dance:

Susan Clarke grew up in Zimbabwe and studied at the University of Cape Town before opening her own school in Zimbabwe. She ran her own school in the United Kingdom for over 11 years. Ms. Clarke is a registered teacher of the Royal Academy of Dance.

Lauren Kozlosky has been dancing since she was three, Lauren has performed and competed locally and in National Dance competitions and pageants. A Junior at TheUniversity of Maryland Baltimore Campus she is and enthusiastic and energetic Hip-Hop and Jazz teacher.

 

Guest Dance Faculty:

Svetlana Kravstova studied at the Ballet Academy of the Republic of Moldova (Former U.S.S.R.) a full time Dance Academy modeled after the Vaganova Academy in Saint Petersburg. She danced professionally for many years before moving to the United States. Her expertise in classical ballet, Vaganova Method is evident in the excellent results produced by the students she teaches.

Shelly Masenoir a graduate of Towson University she has worked as a teacher, producer and choreographer in New York, nationally and Internationally encouraging her students every step of the way. Her talent and creativity inspires both teachers and students alike.

Stephanie McCandless has performed as a world-famous Radio City Rockette and in Equity House musicals across the country. Her skills have been applied to very large classes and have been proven by her students’ numerous award-winning performances.

Khandi (Candy Ranlet) began studying Belly Dancing in the early 1970’s in Houston, Texas.  She has been performing and teaching in this area for last five years and enthusiastically shares the beauty and passion of Belly Dance with her students. 

Andrew Palermo -After graduating from the prestigious College Conservatory of Music he had a distinguished career in Musical Theater.

He is the co-founder and Director of DreDance Company and has had several residencies across the U.S creating original works.

Vadim Pijicov studied at the Vaganova Academy in Saint Petersburg Russia. He performed professionally for many years and won awards for his Pas de deux work. He has worked extensively in the U.S. both performing and teaching.

Liz Plott a talented dancer she studied dance at Ohio State University before touring the U.S. with ‘Tap Kids’. She finished in the top 25 girls of ’So You Think You Can Dance’ she lives and works in New York

Theatre Faculty:

Heather Rager has a Bachelors of Music Education from Wittenberg University in Springfield, OH. Her teaching certifications also include Theatre Arts. She taught music, theatre and dance in the Public School System for 14 years. She has performed several local theater companies and is currently the managing director and actress at The Village Dinner Theatre of Gettysburg in Gettysburg, PA.

Music Faculty:

Nicole Folz earned a Bachelors degree while performing as a clarinetist with the Columbus Symphony, Springer Opera Theatre and Pete Fountain. She performed as an army musician throughout Europe promoting international relations. She teaches piano, brass and wind instruments.

Emily James has a bachelors degree in flute performance from Ithaca College and teaches music lessons full time.

Maureen Siebel has over 40 years of experience in the performing arts.  She studied and performed at the Metropolitan Opera House, Carnegie Hall, Fisher Hall and Manhattan Center. She teaches voice, piano and beginner violin. Mrs. Seibel is the choir director at St. John’s Catholic Church in Westminster.

Helen Stanger received an Associates Degree in Music Performance from Ricks College in Idaho.  She has participated in community orchestras and taught violin at Orem Elementary school.  She likes to work with a variety of music including fiddle, pop and sacred and plays the Viola.

Pilates:

Jeannde Hersom graduated from North Carolina School for the Arts and continued her training with the Joffrey Ballet where she danced professionally. A certified trainer in both Pilates mat and apparatus, she is a devoted advocate of this unique discipline.
